Preschool – 2 & 3 year old class
ODCA provides 2 and 3 year old’s a curriculum that includes developmentally appropriate activities. It encourages students to grow intellectually, socially, emotionally, physically, and spiritually in a safe, nurturing environment. Half-day and full day programs are available.
2, 3, and 5 day options available

Preschool – 4 year old class
The Preschool 4 year old program seeks a holistic development: spiritually, physically, mentally, socially and emotionally.
The curriculum for four year old students has been written and developed by Mrs. Ruth Borrmann, MS Ed., an adjunct professor at Cairn University.
This program has periods of active play along with curriculum-based learning experiences. The class is unique in that it is designed to provide children the opportunity to optimize their preparation for Kindergarten in areas including Bible, Science, Math, Reading, Writing, Music, Spanish, and Library. Physical Education and field trips are also part of our program. Students have hands-on experiences that help them discover the wonders that God has created like nature, cooking, painting and crafts.

ODCA believes that children should enter the Kindergarten program when they are developmentally ready to do so, thus assuring a smoother transition into a structured educational experience. Any child entering our program must be 5 years of age by September 15th.
Bible, language development, art, music, storytelling, social development, science, math and field trips are all part of our Kindergarten curriculum. A formal reading program is included. Our Kindergarten places an emphasis on academic readiness.
Our Half-Day Kindergarten class meets each weekday morning from 8:30-11:45 a.m. This class is designed to prepare the student to enter first grade, and provides a similar program as the full day class.
Our full day kindergarten program was created to accommodate the needs of growing families. Children grow and develop in a safe, nurturing Christ-centered environment. Our full day Kindergarten program provides your child with the appropriate skills and tools needed to be a successful in a stimulating academic environment. Our hands-on curriculum provides a perfect balance of learning and play centered on the Bible, reading readiness, arts, music and physical education.
Our full day Kindergarten classroom follows an emerging curriculum in alignment with the PA Learning Standards which gives your child hands-on experiences through play and interaction with others.
