OUR COMMITMENT TO SERVE
The Open Door Parent Association is an integral part of the school community, offering an array of activities. Throughout the school calendar, ODPA serves to support our students and the school administration. This support is demonstrated through a wide variety of activities for students, staff, and families. ODPA believes that its ongoing activities build lasting friendships, create fun-filled memories, and foster a sense of a community. Our hope is that members of the school community will consider joining this year in all that ODPA has planned for our faculty, staff, and community, and that your participation will become an essential part of your Open Door experience.
The arrival of the new school year brings a wide variety of volunteer opportunities. ODPA hopes that student families will become more involved by donating their time and talents to build a better and stronger Open Door Christian Academy.

ODPA Leadership Position
Do you love to serve at school? The ODPA Leadership Committee is seeking an energetic parent to join our team. This is a volunteer position. Responsibilities include participation in meetings for planning, administrative tasks, and oversight/coordination of several events. A flexible schedule allowing for availability during events is necessary. Interested persons should email the ODPA at email@example.com.

ODPA Race for Education Goal Update
As most of you know our key project for the 2018-2019 Race for Education was to raise funds to purchase the appropriate vehicle(s) we need to transport students to sporting events, field trips, etc. Our goal is to accomplish this over a two year span. We raised a total of $21,496.53 this year, a big praise, and expect to complete the purchase with the 2019-2020 Race proceeds.
Thank you to all of the individuals and families who have supported this effort. We look forward to celebrating this achievement this coming October. Please continue to pray for this effort.
