Parent Handbooks
Open Door Christian Academy now has two Parent Handbooks; 1) Pre-school, Readiness & Kindergarten; and 2) Grades 1-8. Each Parent Handbook is a comprehensive guide for our parents and students containing specific information concerning all aspects of ODCA's school policy and procedures. The Handbooks gather all relevant school information and policies in one convenient location.

For your convenience, we offer the Parent Handbook as a download in Adobe pdf format. We suggest that you consult both the website (especially our FAQ page) and the Parent Handbook before addressing questions to the school, as most answers can be found therein.

The Choking Game -
On February 8, 2006, an Upper Moreland Police Officer presented the "Choking Game" which is a harmful and deadly activity performed by some youth. We have enclosed the presentation here so you can watch it at home. The main presentation is in Powerpoint. The sound effects are in media files. On most computers, you can simply open the Powerpoint file and click for the next slide and the audio files will play automatically. If your computer does not allow this, then please copy and load all files on your computer in the same file or your desktop and then the audio will play along with the Powerpoint (but you must advance the powerpoint slides, they will not advance on their own).
